    Aloha!

🌺 I’m Gemma ~ a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Hawaiʻi. ✊🏼 Kanaka ʻŌiwi

🖤 My work explores dark naturalism, Hawaiian lore, and local flora & fauna through traditional and digital mediums. I also enjoy doing portraits of people, pets and plants.

    What you’ll see here:

    • Painting – acrylic & watercolors – one day I’ll be brave enough for oils

    • ProCreate process videos
    • Bespoke Hand-embroidery projects
    • … and lots more!

(p.s. I’m trying my best to add good ALT descriptors for accessibility reasons – still learning best practices while I’m new here in the Fediverse!)

(p.p.s. I am slowly learning the following languages – let’s talk! : ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, Française)

(p.p.p.s. I’m building a little thing here on my site because I’d like to eventually run away from Instagram and never look back🖤)
